On the entrance to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda.. from left :my sister Suzie, her son Htet Aung Lin, David, Ko Shain our driver and my sisters second son Soe Lin Htun

The view is absolutley amazing, since the golden rock is high up the mountains, they have build an temple around this holy place and how they achived this is just crazy. Looks like you are walking on the clouds since you are so high up ... this is a place is important to me since I've visited it a couple times during my childhood with my parents.

The famous lake named Kandawgyi is placed in the centrum of Yangon, a beautiful place where families and couples walk around in their own pace ,enjoying the calmness and the amazing view. Especially at night time when the sun goes down...

Under the golden rock there is a quite big gap which before you could see under but since the rock have moved a bit, the gap has become smaller.

In most part of asia it is an insult to touch someones face in public, or at least we don't talk about it. This is a moment i freaked out when David squished my face in public but shocking... nobody reacted as I thought they would and nobody got.. hurt either . ._. <3

However, I really love the hot weather and the hottest periods is in April-May in Sout-East asia. We protect us from the sun with an umbrella which is quite unique if you would compare to how we protect us from the sun in Sweden.... jup. just sunscreen...

The four last days we spended it in Ngwe Saung, An beautiful place with great view over the sea. Scooters, wild elephants that you could visit and otherwise an amazing place to just relax...

Some buddha statues i captured in the Shwedagon temple . The temple is the largest temple in the world and has a big meaning in the buddhist religion , or at least for the buddhist people... Really beautiful temple.. this is a place you absolutley need to visit once in your life.

Im very strict about myself to not be a part of encouraging animal abuse. I was very sceptical before i visited the elefants in the jungle near Ngwe Saung. But the told me that the elephants work aprox. 4 hours a day maximum and they give them food and water (they work in a form to take a 15 min walk trough the jungle with 1 or 2 persons on their back) When they have done their job, the owners let them free in the jungle to later call them back the day after by finding them. The elephants wore a big cowbell so you could hear them if they were nearby, also a good way to warn the nearby village people.

This is the last picture for today, i can't wait until i can upload videos and mabye some pictures from Thingyan (Burmese newyear held in the middle of April)
